Excellent model and interesting livery too. Given the almost total lack of aero, these cars must have been a handful at high speed,

Looks pretty sharp JC. They really weren't as bad of a brick aero-wise as they seem Rob. But no where near as refined as a current NASCAR racer. These Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs and Chevies won a hell of a lot of racers in their day. The aero rear window on the Pontiacs and Monte Carlos helped a bit though. Even if they WERE more rare on the street than Superbirds and Daytonas.

I really like Buicks anyways but I REALLY like the old Buick NASCAR rides. Just have a good and aggressive look to them. You turned out a goodie with this one JC.

I love this build ... nailed the stance of the Buick and a very clean build.

Thanks guys. I lowered the stance, more so at the front to get the correct rake. Tire marking were air brushed using a stencil. No clear on the body.

That's what I thought. I'm surprised they don't still sell these anywhere. I like the look of these better than the decals and I would think it would be easier and less expensive to use?
