Nice job! I built an 1/18 scale replica of the C3-chassised '82 bodied Corvette that my partner and I raced back in the day. I used the Carousel 1 L88 as a chassis donor, but performed substantive modifications. Not sure where you got the idea to tilt the radiator forward, as opposed to the stock Corvette location of being leaned back, but that is what we did for our racer, and here is a picture of my replication.

Very well built car. Love the details under the hood and the weathered exhaust. Intense.

Very nice build. I have a Corvette in my future to be built, I'd be happy if it turns out anything like yours.

Very nice. I've built the kit as the TD car. Have a few C2 and C3 Vette projects I would like to take on.

Now that's one impressive build for sure. If you didn't say it was a fantasy build, I'd never have guessed that it wasn't a model of the real deal. The engine and detailing is just 1st rate for sure.
When Ismael (tatocorvette) says it's one great build, then I know it surely is.

Beautiful work Gluebombking and Oldtimer. I just started building models and I'm going to attempt a Corvette. It will be a clone of a B Production /GT-1 Corvette I built in the late '70's. Probably take all winter.
