He list his location as "Norwich" which I assume is Norwich, England but could also be Connecticut I would assume it is England (it is... I found a reference to the UK lockdown) because of the repeated use of the word "fettling" which I think means sanding in our world. Also, I wonder what "greenstuff" is actually. His method of getting bends in tubing is brilliant. I really can't read a lot at once because there is so much info. His inventory of Evergreen or Plastruct must be HUGE! They probably just ship stuff to him on a regular basis!

He lives in Norwich England. Works is a small race car shop, and just keeps his finished models on a shelf in the shop gathering dust and what not. His 1st build that I followed was a 1/8 scale Porsche 908/3. I don't remember how many years but 3 seems about right. Then came the 935 which took more then 5 years, and now the 956. What I just can't comprehend is that his only power tool is a Dremel. Even tubing is scratched out from little sections and tons of Green Stuff.
Every build and every step of those builds are posted on the Automotive site for all to see. And he's great at answering questions as well. He just doesn't seem to realize that what he does, is so extradentary.

I've been following all of his builds for literally years. His 1st build was the Porsche 905/3, followed by a 935, and now the 956.
One doesn't get a true sense of the size of 1/8 scale till you see him holding various parts. The brake calibers are amazing and mini scratch built models on their own.
As for the Greenstuff he uses, I'm thinking it's the Squadron Green Stuff putty thinned way out. Of course I'm most like completely wrong.

very impressive work and just flat out insane! i don't think i could invest that much time to build one model. but i'm sure it will look incredible when done.
