Hello, I'm pretty sure you did not see this one coming This is a 1/35 Tamiya kit (I think). The GAZ-67 and the succesor GAZ-67B was a general purpose all wheel drive Soviet military vehicle, equivalent to the Willys Jeep. The GAZ67B was produced between 1944 and 1953 and had a 54 hp engine. So here is the catch: I built this model well over 25 years ago! You can see it is totally box stock. I did build box stock once!!! But I found myself today (4/25/2020) doing a black wash to the wheels, reattaching a loose wheel and putting a little dullcoat over the heavy silvering fender decal. The base was retouched as it was initially done decades ago. Excuse the weathering that makes little sense. I had no idea back then. Thanks, Ismael

Is that an AK47 in the back seat by any chance? I guess you never know when you might need one. I think its pretty darn good especially from that long ago. Most of mine from at least that long ago literally dried up and fell apart. As far as weathering goes, it looks good, very similar to some tanks I did ages ago. I still wish I knew what happened to that Tiger 1 I built ages ago. it was motorized too. it had a tuff time going up those pillow like hills!

Ismael, Great build of a kit from 25 years ago. Actually, it does look pretty good weathering wise, so you certainly could have fooled me as to it's age.
