I know Chris has a thread that asks where you are living. So I thought a thread where you showed a picture of yourself might be nice. I'll start off with mine. I'm channeling my inner Dave Stohler.

OK, I'll play! Here I am last October with my favorite toy, a replica of my favorite local driver's 1972 car at Afton Motorsports Park, NY (won the Vintage/Antique class, nice way to celebrate my 60th birthday!):

Good thread Eric and thanks for starting it! I've played along with threads like this elsewhere so I'll do it here to. This picture is a favorite of mine from 2006. It's a photo of my dad and I over in Iraq while we were over there contracting together. I threw a party in the shop for his 60th birthday. Caught him totally by surprise.

Modifieds are one of my favorite classes for short track racing. That is a very cool car. What body is that? Have you thought about building a replica of this bad Boy? GREAT STUFF!!!

Gary, I actually started a 1/25 model of this BEFORE I built the 1:1 "model"! Helped me work out a few things before the torch and welder hit metal. I'll probably finish the little one someday. The big one is built on a 1969 International Scout frame with a 1971 Gremlin body. 1962 short-tail Chevy 3-speed trans, 1970's Frankland quickchange rear with Chrysler leaf springs, 1959 Ford pickup front axle with finned drum brakes and Flemke split-spring setup, Ford Econoline steering box with GM quick ratio guts, 355 ci small block with Holley 500cfm 2 barrel carb. As old-school as I could safely make it! I'll start a separate thread with some pics.

We won the tournament a few years back Gary but not last year. Worst wind I have every played in: 15-20 MPH sustained with 40 MPH gusts!!
