As my friend Kevin K. said, Fantastic Build! An awesome rendition of this car and as a Gurney / AAR home boy I truly approve. Thanks for showing us what can be done with a Kevin K's Silver City Models kit..... Bravo. Chris

Adrian,
It turned out great! I love the scratchbuilding you did, and, man, you were fast about it. Nice job.

Fantastic work, my friend! Outstanding detail...your scratch built work really makes a difference. I don't want to be that guy but I'm wondering what's up with the Goodyear logo's on the inside of the rear tires? Ha ha! that's no worries mate you have a keen eye ... I just put the logo on the inside as well because it really makes the back end pop - I know they didn't run that way but I just love the look of it
Thank you for stopping by!

Thank you sir I have only seen a couple examples of one of my kits built with this much detail and expertise. I just noticed your post about a week ago. If I had known, I would have told you to put one of my Toyota resin engines in the build. From what I have seen you accomplish, it would have been an easy task for you. May a use a few of your photos for my ads promoting the 997 kit? Again, Fantastic job and I really love seeing people build my kits and especially one that has been built such as yours. Kevin, Silver City Models Hey Kevin!
Very cool to hear from you and thank you for the kind words on the build - it's actually one of my personal favourite builds - I love looking at the model now each day - and I rarely say that about any of my builds as I am very hard on myself and I can always see room for improvement and it usually takes months before I actually approve of a build
Please feel free to use any photos you like - I will post a few more that are probably better quality tomorrow.
Your cast was actually very tight and smooth in comparison to other resin's I've built - it has nice weight to it and is solid - needed some serious dremeling in the cockpit but aside from that the body was sweet to work on. I would love to see you put out some more modern Indy bodies from the 90's - that would be cool

Adrien my friend, I've seen some really outstanding Indy car builds, mostly 1/25 scale, and I thought that it would really take some doing to pass them all, but buddy your sure did. If there's such a thing as cutting edge, your build surely meets that criteria. 1st your Penske Nascar Pennzoil Ford, and now your AAR Indy Eagle. So what's next on your bench? Joel Thank you for the kind words Joel
Well I have started a new project which I will post tomorrow - and I am also getting on with Willie B's CITY Camaro - and don't tell my wife but I picked up a Ducati 916 1/12 by Tamiya on eBay yesterday ... shhh
So I will be working on 3 things at once for the next few months ... gotta slow down a bit as the rest of my life needs some attention

Adrian, The truth be told, I was never allowed to own a bike, ride on a bike, or even hangout with guys who owned bikes growing up. My parents just made that decision based on the fact that two families they knew and their boys owned bikes, both had horrific accidents and needed multi surgeries including extensive dental work. How I ever convinced them to let me time trial then race Enduro Karts is still a total mystery to me to this day.
On the other hand, I've grown interested in bike racing and the bikes they ride by watching races on TV. Sooner then later I just might join you on a build. So I'll be following your build rather closely.

So I'll be following your build rather closely. Joel Joel, my brother lost his leg on an All Chrome Anniversary Harley Davidson in downtown Toronto a few years back - a lady driving hit him blindside basically eleminating his leg and sending him straight across the intersection and he landed beside a man who quickly took off his belt and wrapped it around my brothers leg - and then just walked away. To this day we don't know who he was but he saved my brother's life .. the paramedics told me he would have bled out within 3 minutes time. May be that's why I have such a love/hate relationship with motorcycles - but I can't help the love part which is why I build them - but I have never and will never ride one, because I remember walking into the emergency entrance to the hospital that day and seeing the stretcher still with the leg harness laying on it sitting in the doorway ... that was enough.
