LINKThis class has been shrinking, but it would still be a shame to see it go away. If it does, would they be able to adapt the C8R to GT3/GTD? I know it would probably require a complete new car, but.... Ben

Sad but not surprising. A few weeks ago they pulled out the IMSA team from this year's LeMans. Corvette racing also pulled out for this year. I hope they recover and get back one way or another. Racing in general is seriously hurt.

Le Mans would have fallen between two close-together IMSA races, so the logistics would have been difficult.
Sounds like the class itself is nearing its end, with Ford out and Porsche leaving. GT3/GTD still seems to be pretty strong. Hopefully the teams and tracks will be able to weather 2020 and come back strong next year.
