Hello,
Not sure if this is the right section to ask, but as the title says, is Jorgensen still around? Saw a video of a recent Indy car meet and saw the beautiful Bill Holland's 1949 winner and fell in love again. I saw Indycals has the decals and references Jorgensen for the 1/25 kit.
Thanks, Ismael

I cant remember the guys name, he owns Petaluma Speedway too, but as far as I know he is not and has no plans on producing them. Was there a specific Car you wanted, I may be able to find it for you. Of all the 20 or 30 Jorgenson resin kits I have had over 30 or so years I have yet to be able to build one. Great Masters , not so good customer pieces... Chris

I am wondering about the Lou Moore 1949 Indy 500 winner driven by Bill Holland. Jorgensen did it and Indycals has the decals. Thanks, Ismael

Hi Jim, Do you know if Lance made progress on this? Thanks, Ismael Hi Ismael,
I guess you asking me if Lance is working on the 49 Indy winner. I really don't know, I do know that he is now working on and taking pre-orders for the 1947 NOVI of Cliff Bergere. Next will be the 46 NOVI of Ralph Hepburn.
Lance also mentioned about doing a 35 Miller at some point. He has also been working on the SUMAR Streamliner, whether he kits it or not is a different story.
Could we see the 49 winner from Lance, he is on his kick of older front engine cars right now. We might see it, but don't hold your breath! Personally I'd like to see him get back to those late 60s early 70s crazy looking cars! I would love to see Lance kit his 70 PJ Colt. There are a few others, like the 70 Brawner Scorpion or the 70 and 71 McNamaras. I know I will never figure out what motivates Lance to what he will do next and I ain't gonna try. I just know that whatever he does will be a beauty! We just have to sit back and wait........Also, when Lance does a kit, get it while you can, you may never see it again. Even if it's not what you're looking for, they are great investments!
Jim
