I just saw that EBBRO is producing 1/12 f-1 kit Anyone seen these ? and are they going to do more F-1 1/112 scale kits ? Chris

It's a remake of the old Tamiya kit with some upgrades. A friend of mine just got his, looks pretty good in the box. But over $350.00 CDN by the time you get it, just too much IMHO.

For that kind of money, it ought to have PE sheets, Cartograph decals, and next to MFH quality. I can't see paying that much for a kit on a regular basis.

They're also doing the Dutch GP version which comes with an exterior resin oil cooler, a different cowl and windscreen. Beltoise finished second to Stewart and took fastest lap. I have one on pre-order at Hobby-Search. www.1999.co.jp/eng/10706896

You still have to buy the kit... unless you are like me and have the Tamiya kit in your pile.

That's a lot of $$ for so few pieces! I think all of that, including the cowl, could be scratched or modified pretty easily. I'd much rather see an all-inclusive trans-kit to do Stewart's MS-10, or even the babyshit green MS-9.
