I have this kit for some time and after the Cobra is in the books I'd like to give it a shot. The biggest issue I'm having is trying to find detail pictures so I can enhance my build. Can anyone point me towards some online reference material?
Thanks, Joel

I had the same problem, not a lot of close up shots of that period of Indycars for some reason. But you'll love the kit, it's very nice to work with.

Paul, I've loved this kit for ages but never bought one as the "Snap" issue always fogged my brain thought process. My goal is just to enhance the look of the engine compartment enough to make having the cover removal worth the effort as the engine/trans/suspension does look rather good.
My kit is the Indy version that I'm planning on doing Robby Gordon's AJ Foyt #41 car. I've been looking at the Silver City Indy cars and just might go that route every once in a while as there's just so many outstanding car kits available.

I had some reservations about the snap-tite too when I first began building these cars. The easiest thing to do is to drill out the locating holes. Then you don't have to worry about trying to get the parts apart to test fitment once you put them together. I presently have a couple of these cars started, but just too much on the workbench right now and have been put to the side. One is the 93 Nazareth car of Robby Gordon. The other is a 94 Lola conversion of the 93 Lola! This is slow progress.
Here are a couple that I built some time ago.
The foreground car is Mario's last win car and the background car is Mansell's Michigan winner. This was before Indycals made their decals, I had to make my own to do Mansell's car. As Paul says, they are fun to build!

Jim, Thanks for the tip. I'll be going that way for sure.
Looking forward to seeing your Robby Gordon car. As for Mario's and Nigel's cars. I'd say that you did one heck of a job on the builds, and those decals look great.
