Hello all. I've been searching for a kit or body for an ASA AC Delco Challenge series car build with a Monte Carlo body (1/24-1/25), but all of the kits I'm seeing have the 2005-2006 nose. Has anyone seen a kit that has the correct 2000-2004 nose with the segmented grille and wide lower opening, as was produced by Five Star Bodies for their Sportsmen series cars? These were the bodies used by the Mid-american series cars, and many of the ASA cars back in 2000-2008 when televised on TNT. Pic of the nose I'm searching for below: Any leads would be appreciated. Trying to figure out if I can scratch build the sections I need, but hoo boy... Thanks, DH PS Oh, just realized....it's pictured in my avatar.

My only guess would be an AMT NASCAR kit for those years would give you something to start with.

I remembered Southern Motorsports Hobbies had several Monte Carlo resin nose replacements link stores.smhracing.com/2000-monte-carlo-speedway-nose/ may be easier to start with one of these and go from there? There are 3 or 4 different ones for the 2000 to 2004 NAACAR Monte Carlo that might get you going on basic shape and it looks like then just modify one and add the headlamps decals? Not a big NASCAR Guy but??? for $8. it may work out.. Chris Ps. I may have some of those headlamp decals.. LMK and I will take a gander.
