Good News: I just found the original photos of my visit to Midland 17 March 1987. I had CD copies made and have to find them. I shot everything there including the CERV II/GS II (Chap 2B). If you are doing a 2D, 2E or 2F I have GREAT shots, body off, bare chassis, engines and the "Slush Box!" Unfortunately some water damage from being Homeless and living in my truck but I hope the negatives are good. I think you'll be surprized.

That is indeed good news, as well as hearing that you come such a long way from being homeless to one of us. Always love a great story with a great ending.

thanks Joel, so i had no idea on how to make fender tire clearance humps. after a few failed attemps i came up with this. cut sections out of un-used front end that had the same contour. did some shaping and added a few plastic strips underneath.

finally got a good picture of wheels and this car had no oval rings on wheels. fine with me,less work and wheels are just about done. looks like wheels had a small hole on flat disc. maybe an access to valve stem.

not too much progress , some body filler on 2A . Chaparral 2C (LS KIT) modified side scoop, opened up scoop and moved it back to correct spot. added screens.

The wobbly wheels are indeed Lotus wheels. The "2A" did not use a big block. The confusion is that Hap Sharp's car ran the BOP 215 aluminum engine with a Cooper transaxle at first.

JC , another great picture. reference photos are always a great help and this is a great shot of the exhaust and height of weber stacks.
