**EDIT** This thread was started for the van but I'll include the pickup truck as well as it will be a support fleet for my car business and racing operations Hello, As you know, I've worked on some fantasy jet cars in 1/64 scale. Then I thought, I need a support vehicle. How about a van for carrying communication gear, instrumentation, etc? So I started with this: Shortly after it was looking like this: which led to this: and we are now here: 1971 Mediterranean blue A Corvette color. What else did you expect? Thanks, Ismael

Hello, The second part of this fleet is a pickup truck. In this case, a blinged Silverado. I'll probably keep the wheels and stance but not sure at this time yet. It will be painted to match the van as a fleet. As nice as it looked initially, the paint is uneven. With no drama, here we are after disassembly and paint stripping. The surface is very rough and ugly mold lines need to be addressed. Thanks, Ismael

Hello again! How about panel lines in 1/64? Will let them dry for a while before doing the horizontal lines at the top. Thanks, Ismael

Hello, Spent some time removing mold lines and re-scribing some panel lines. Testing a new self etching primer as my favorite T235 is having a tough time with zamac. Thanks, Ismael

Hello, The last time I painted a model car body in enamel was back in 2008, using this exact same paint jar. About 13 years later, I used it again! Been enamel it shoots glossy out of the airbrush, but way thicker than lacquer. This is just 2 "light" coats in the morning! After a couple hours. I'll let it dry for a few days. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, I can't even see anything so small as 1/64 scale, and you're doing stripping and repainting on them.
The van really came out looking great. Love how you managed to paint on the panel lines. The pickup truck is also looking good in that 13 year old enamel paint.
