That's really going to make the interior look even better than it does. GREAT job Ismael!

Tap, tap Is this thing on? Hello everybody! Sorry it's been almost a year since I last worked on this. This week I was able to get a few minutes and worked on the radiator. Kit's part but added a cap latch on top made from thin solder. Dry brushed metallics. This will barely be seen in the final model. Only the cap will show. Very small step but it is a start. Or a re-start. Thanks, Ismael

Hello again, This will barely be seen, but I added some access panel lines to the transmission hump and weathered it a bit. Hard to see but I added subtle shoe rub marks. I want to be very clear this will not be a show car. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Just re-read the entire journey of your "BOX STOCK" build, and it's quite a journey including the start time to now. Always great to follow one of your builds as no one really knows what you'll do or come up with. But it's always a joy to follow one of your adventures with it's twists and turns.
Nice job on the radiator cap with the latch. Same for the transmission hump as each detail just adds that much more to the whole. joel

Hello, Quick update: I am running dangerously low on body paint for the final round and may not be enough. What do you know! After 15 years and 4 cars these paint jars do get empty! So to play it safe I ordered from Scalefinishes. I'm hoping to get it by the end of the week. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Talk about being thrifty. Sure hope that Scalefinishes can match the paint color as closely as possible.

Hello, First color coat in a looooooong time. Will carefully inspect it before deciding if more is needed or if ready for clear. Thanks, Ismael

Thanks Joel! Hello again, After an extensive search of over a year, at the last minute I finally found reference to the proper location of the pedals! Glad I did because my initial assumption was wrong. It has been corrected. The clutch pedal is on the far left all by itself, and the accelerator and brake pedals are very close together to the right. This will not be seen but you know I'm not normal Thanks, Ismael

Hello, Decals are done. Despite been a simple decal job that always bothers me. Needless to say, Indycals decals worked perfectly. I'll wait a day or two before putting a coat of clear over them. Finally found a use for that 8x8 timber The nose decal required some micro sol and some massaging. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Excellent decaling for sure. As for the clutch being on the opposite side of the cockpit, this certainly could cause the driver groin strain, and the start of a Hernia.

Hello,
So we are at about 85% completion on this. Still pending a ton of little things like windshield, mirrors, gas caps, straps, brakes, etc. But here is a private quick peek for all of you, my closest friends.
Thanks, Ismael

Hello, For the windshield, I cut a small piece of acetate, shaped to form, cut 3 strips of the smallest half round stock I had and did 2 brackets from flatten solder. This is how it is looking now. It will eventually be tilted back as per references. Dash gap will also be addressed. Thanks, Ismael
