Afternoon Fellows, Spring Cleaning the truck I lived with a power car wash hose and brush pulled the seats out, found some lost photos. The ones with CDs I put on PhotoBucket first so I can send Them to You Guys. Going to start with Hap Sharps 1964 (or '63) Elva Porsche 4 cylinder. Hap always liked smaller engined cars but he was a killer with the #65 Chaparral beating Surtees, McLaren, Gurney, ALL the Big Boys and other World Champions even running in Formula 1 races in 1964 in Watkins Glen and Mexican GPs. Hap was no "Slouch". I had placed a lot of photos today on PhotoBucket but they're not there now. PB was acting Goofy all day. I'll attach more as I convert to CD, Got a lot to do so stand by. I will post wants if I have them otherwise it will be what I load. But I'll post King Cobra's next. Thanx, for viewing, John

Thanks for sharing those. The USRRC Championship was the precursor to the Can Am series and the Elva Porsche was mighty powerful car in the USRRC series. Very cool since it is rare to see what was under the skin on these early Road race cars. Chris

These are great photos of his Elva. I came across a slot body of an Elva-Porsche! I have no idea who is the maker, but it's pretty good. Chassis will be scratched to fit under the upper body works. Your photos show exactly what the rear chassis looks like. Thanks!!

I always loved the Elva's, MAR had a great corner in back of the pits close to the drag strip. You could walk across a view the corner and the straight. Attaching another photo or two from MAR. There at least TWO Elva-Porsche 1/24 slot car bodies. One (which I got rid of this year, Dang It) was very good probably a Lancer. The other is good also which I also sold on eBay but had a different engine cover, I assume it was either a Stormer or Shark. Anybody know? Seems like someone (Revell) made some Elva slot car wheels that had "Elva" in the wheel spokes. Thanx, John
