Mike, Wow!! what a fantastic build. All that brass work really stands out from the traditional plastic we work with. As I've said before, the paint is dead on perfect. Well done. So what's your next project going to be in injected molded plastic?

That's really quite remarkable Mike, it belongs in a museum, or a jewellery store or something.
I bow to the master.
Just a thought, but for your next project........I just built a (plastic) USAC midget. It would be a great subject for you in brass
cheers mate

This was a supremely ambitious project, with its metal body. The tip of the nose piece in particular must have been a bear. But everything is just right. (The angle/proportions of zoomies, the linkage and plumbing detail - wow...) At some point, when all the dust has settled and you can look back with satisfaction at what you have achieved, you might look in to the decal thing.* But for now, Bravo!
*How were the decals for the Ed Pink Old Master done?

Revised, better photos... I'm having trouble photographing this long car. This method has worked well so here photos in color!
Finally. The bets method for me so far. Mike..

Another outstanding build! Beautiful work to be proud of. Thanks, Ismael Hi Ismael, many thanks for your viewing and commenting! Very kind of you, even though realizing this is not especially your favorite type race car. Regardless of favorites, a model car is still a model car and I appreciate your opinion. Mike..

Thank you guys, glad you approve.
The first photos were not good, having trouble figuring out a decent method to show some color on this car. Happy now.
@ben_B, much appreciated, this project was a new step for me and I'm happy with the result. Thank you!
@joel, your support throughout has been sensational, I'm grateful. Next project hasn't been decided yet. For sure another drag racer. Tendency leaning towards making another brass body, a 1923 Ford T, for a fuel altered car. I have decent plans to work with...
paul , much appreciated. No museum, they'd want nothing to do with it.....too plain looking. No decals. lol.
@bernard, appreciated! The nose indeed was challenging. Since the car was originally not designed for a skinny nose, a flare had to be worked out, all would've been easier had the chassis front been more slender. Decals, well the car needs some. I'm not a friend of them, but the other side view really needs something. I've seen some cars with just a few small ones, side panels, just in front of the slicks, might be a way to go. The decals for the pink car were sent to me from a fellow on a Facebook group, without charge. Turns out he knows the car well, his favorite. He sent me a lot of private photos of the car at cackle events, proved very helpful with getting the pink paint correct. I agree though, a few will be added.

@chris, yes. This car's chassis is an exact scale replica of his "Blown Chow" car. Using his original plans, we discussed every aspect. He likes it.
It was my decision to make a full body and add the 426 motor. All else is exact. He also thanked me for building his other car, the "Brissette" car.
