Ismael, I lost my Father a year ago and my Mother a few months back, They were both almost 100 but no matter how much I tell myself I was prepared for their death, I still miss them very much. Yolanda and I, and on Behalf of Motorsport Modeling and all its Members, we send Our Condolences and Prayers to You and Your Family. May you find solace knowing his fight with Cancer is over. Peace and Love from Us All... Chris

Thank you guys! It's tough as we were very close and for some reason I never thought about him not been there. Among many other (and more important) things, he was kind of a car guy. Not as crazy as I am but a car guy nonetheless. In the last decade and a half or so he started collecting diecasts. I'll post pictures of his displays later. Among that collection, there is one car that stands out: He could not find a '51 Chevy diecast. After years searching, I built him one in 2019 from the AMT kit. That car is proudly sitting in the display among other 1/25 scale diecasts. Back in January 2019 he spent a few days in the hospital with asthma problems when I presented him the car. That was the center of attention and topic of discussion with doctors, nurses, staff and visitors. You have no idea how much I miss him... Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Great memories for sure. And yes, I do have a great idea of how much you miss your Dad. Mine passed 34 years ago, and I still miss him so.

I too know how tough it can be. I lost my dad six years ago yesterday. At least we have the memories and all the life lessons they taught us.
