Well I just threw my hands up in the air and yelled 'YES!' It's been over a year I believe and over the past few weeks I've been straining what few Blood vessels I have left in my silly brain to remember the name of this group! I certainly hope some of you remember me I was under Adrian2934 when I was here last year and for the life of me could not remember my password so I had to re-create myself
I'm just excited to be back here because I thought I was leaving model making behind me when I felt as though my health was being compromised, not because I lost any passion for it. I am feeling much better and have re-equipped myself with better protection from all these crazy chemicals and I am ready to start a new Project, my next project. I missed a lot of you dearly to be quite honest, and felt like something was missing in my life when I wasn't building or following your guy's builds
I truly hope this finds you all well and still building away

Adrian, What a wonderful surprise. I thought for sure that you've decided not to model any longer, or just as bad not rejoin our group. I couldn't understand why your start date is 6/25, and post count went back to zero. Glad that it's just rejoining. Maybe Chris can reactivate your old account for you if you prefer.
So glad to read that your health issues are behind you, and you're feeling just fine now. How about a hint on your comeback build?

So glad to read that your health issues are behind you, and you're feeling just fine now. How about a hint on your comeback build? joel I actually developed a bad sounding cough that my wife said was nasty, and God knows she's a whole lot wiser about these type of things than I am so decided I had to give it a break, which honestly was the hardest thing I've ever had to do because it broke my heart. I started thinking all kinds of terrible stuff that might be causing it having been around all these fumes my entire life pretty much. However just today I recieved news that my chest X-ray is Normal so the cough must be due to something else - thank God. So I can return to my passion, and having watched Helio's 500 Win I decided it's time to make a 2021 NTT Indy Car in 1/18 scale - honestly I have always thought the things are butt ugly lol .. and they actually are, but once I got a Greenlight in hand and starting dismantling it I realized that in their own way they are still works of art - still race cars - still beautiful to me. So I am going to strip a Cole Herta to the bone and do a complete conversion to Helio's Indy Winner with the Cancer Hot pink paint job - Indycals just got the new decals released a few days ago. So back at it I have all kinds of parts and decals on their way to me in the mail as I embark on what will likely be a 3 to 4 month Project - possibly longer in fact. I want to really take my time on this one in order not to get back into any trouble with the lungs and I am shooting for a paint finish better than my last build - the Tracy Kool Green ride - getting that finish will require time and patience on my part - never been my strengths lol I would love to see what you've been up to my friend!

Adrian, A clean bill of health is just fantastic. I'm praying for one myself, but don't think I'll get it this time.
One thing that you've gotta start using is a good respirator. I wear one whenever I air brush no matter the solvent. I also wear it even when cleaning my air brush which I now do in my spray booth while it's running.
Now that's one great planned build. Knowing your skill level, it's going to be one for the books for sure.
