I'm a sucker for anything JGTC (preferably late 90 early 00s) so I had picked this up with a stash of other kits for what is just a simple box stock build with some P/E parts.
The rotors came out looking awesome and it was my first time using a tire stencil so some of the lettering is pretty blurry due to me spraying too angled instead of just straight on like I should've. Did the front grill with some carbon decals from gofer however I couldn't tell from the website how fine the pattern was and upon receiving it I wasnt too thrilled with what I got. Regardless i put them on anyway and ordered a different sheet for wrapping the rear wing.
The decal work is something else on this as the red is all decals on the top. I didnt trust myself enough to try painting it so I just used this as decal practice since i have the Avex Dome NSX i want to do down the road and thats almost entirely decals. Took me 5 days in the end to get all of them on and the only mistake I had made was I painted the red too high up on the bottom of the door so the bridgestone logo is overlapping the red when it should just be sitting just above it.
Havent started on the interior yet but admittedly this is the only downside of this kit as its pretty barebones and lacks quite a bit of detail.

Very nice. Been hoping Tamiya (or someone) would kit the present Super GT Supra.

Amazing work so far! I had no idea this kit existed. Yet another one to add to my list. Ben

Great! Looks like Shunko made several other liveries for it, too. The Petronas car looks pretty interesting.

Totally impressed with your decaling. Sure looks like you painted on the Red perfectly, that's how good your decaling is.
Nothing wrong with the tire stenciling. I've seem plenty of real deal tires with poor stenciling. Yours look just fine.

Brilliant work. The tyre stenciling has just the right amount of edge blur. The decals look awesome too.

Ben Didnt know they made AM decals for this kit except for maybe the Bandai car from 06 that Tamiya couldn't do for obvious reasons. The bodywork on the Lexus changed alot from year to year so I wonder how those would work.
