I'm not a big fan of the prototypes, but damned if they don't put on a great race! And the 1st and 2nd place cars cut their fuel estimates so close that they both ran out of gas during the cool down lap. The GTLM and GTD races were excellent, too.

I was so Happy to see that my longtime friend Jordan Taylor won in the Corvette GTLM, it was an Outstanding drive and the team performed flawlessly to bring Home the Victory. Congratulation's Jordan, and Lexie! ( Lexie is his dog who goes everywhere with him) and Corvette Racing! Chris

Hello, Could not see the race but caught the highlights last night. It was very good! The prototypes, while ugly as hell, make the other categories look like slow moving chicanes. And the drivers are fearless. 4 wide, grass, under the line, whatever it takes. My dying GTLM category ( ) was a 4 car race as the 5th retired earlier in a spectacular fire. Withholding spoiling details in case you want to see it. Go to 1:15 and 8:10 on this video for some hot action. Literally. Thanks, Ismael

For the race in Detroit, it was a Corvette spec class.

I think Detroit was more of a publicity thing for Chevy. No points were involved for GTLM.
Yesterday’s 500 km race at Silverstone, UK (streamed on YouTube) was a lot of fun, too. They had both GT3 and GT4 running at the same time and everything came down to the last few minutes.

Ben , I'll have to check it out on You Tube as the great thing about the full length races that they carry, is that every vid stays on that channel for a long time. I even watch Nascar races on you tube as Nascar posts the full race several days later without any commercials, just no voice over during the commercial time, but the racing still is there. I sure which that Indy Car would do that as well.
I've found myself watching less and less tv at night and watching races on you tube at night.
