I’m a big Lotus fan. I just saw the announcement that the last Lotus with an internal combustion engine is coming. I’ll take the blue one. Maybe they’ll take these racing, given the historic significance of the car. A GT3 or GT4 version would be awesome. Add another car to my 1/24 wishlist! LINKBen

Am I wrong for saying any vehicle with an electric motor is nothing more then a glorified golf cart and not a real car or truck?

It’s the necessary wave of the future, but yeah, I’ve used that term before, too. I almost got hit by a Tesla while out for my morning run a year or so ago. I told my wife if they had hit me, she could’ve put “Run over by a glorified golf cart” on my headstone. That said, Teslas in “Plaid” mode have been putting down some impressive drag times. There’s also been a guy in a Model 3 who’s been terrorizing the autocross circuit. They still have a long way to go before they can be competitive in any kind of distance racing. Ben

Electric cars are a great idea. In the right climate. How do you heat an electric car? With an electric heater. OK, if your Tesla, whatever, has a range of 250 miles on a battery charge in California when its +22C, how far does it go in Canada when its -30C? It might make it to the end of my driveway.
