Its race season so Ive been STUPID busy. But I did find time to finally finish this one up! Sorry about the crappy photos but alteast yall get to see it! AMT Challenger RT body, stretched over a Monogram NASCAR Chevy Monte Carlo Chassis. Turns out the roll cage/crush panels for a late 90s Monte Carlo follows the lines of the Challenger body really well! I swapped in the driveline from a Dodge intrepid NASCAR kit so it would have a Mopar engine under the hood! I used a mis-mash of decals from Cady, Gofer, SLIXX, and some home made one as well to make it look the part.

Excellent model! Do the real cars use Mopar engines? I assumed that all the TA cars used some kind of generic GM engine.

Due to shortages of parts and cost concerns all the cars are allowed to use the GM LS based engines. Same is true for the Ford teams. That being said, last race I saw in person the Challengers all had a Dodge engine in them, and MOST of the Ford teams had a Henry under the hood.

Excellent work! It's a fine display piece, pics are understandable if you've been very busy. I know about working extended hours!
Happy modeling!!
