Hello, Started working on the body. Started by rescribing the rather faint panel lines... ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjbrxJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjKjxJ21ND.jpg) ...when I noticed some missing lines. So I measured and scribed them. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjZ5xJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjQNxJ21ND.jpg) Rescribed the faint headlight bezel line. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjfyxJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjwdxJ21ND.jpg) Noticed some sink marks that will need attention. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjpqxJ21ND.jpg) And removed the passenger side visor. Why? ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbj1nxJ21ND.jpg) Because the Pace Car had the visor replaced by a grab handle for the officials ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbjY8xJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egbzqjxJ21ND.jpg) To be continued... Thanks, Ismael

Hello, Worked the body before even consider the first coat of primer. Panel lines rescribed, added some missing ones, sand mold lines, shave emblems, filled a few small sink marks with putty. After all of that then I did the first mist coat of primer. Very happy with the laser sharp lines. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egpSc8xJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egpSwMxJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egpSB2xJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egpStNxJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2egpSsMxJ21ND.jpg) Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Nice effort on the body with those panel lines. Makes a huge difference after the 1st coat of primer.

Hello, Hinged the hood. I know this is NOT prototypically correct, but I don't want to go into that rabbit hole. But this will work. Removed the kit's prong and added two small pieces of tubing. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2eWtyVrxJ21ND.jpg) Carefully measured and made the hinges. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2eWtyLMxJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2eWtyhjxJ21ND.jpg) ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2eWtyC8xJ21ND.jpg) Getting there. Thanks, Ismael

I love the grab handle, that's attention to detail!

Hello, After several rounds of primer and bodywork tweaking, it was finally time for the first color coat. Happy to report it went smooth and no drama. Plenty more coats still in the future but looking good so far. ![](https://media.fotki.com/2v2erFWMSxJ21ND.jpg) Corvette Arctic White. Before you go up in arms, the car was repainted bright white for better showing in TV and the press. This is a very bright white and it was consulted with paint experts who agreed with this choice. Thanks, Ismael

Appropriate color choice I would say. The bright white feels right to me.
