For me, all air brushing is an indoor event. All rattle can painting is done in the garage with both car doors open. At least around here (Long Island NY), there's almost always some wind, and painting out of doors makes being up wind of your subject a must. But how do you control all the air borne particles?

Ismael, Nice job on that seat. The darker brown really has the texture of Leather.

Hello, Shifter is a bit thick for my liking, but I promised myself this would be a BOX STOCK build. Plastic 2 piece wheel/tire. Can you tell which one is untouched and which one has a lot of work? Thanks, Ismael

Somewhat ironically I just picked this up in the original pyro boxing. Definitely will be using your idea for the body braces.

Hello, Using a SOTAR to paint 1/32 scale tail lights is like going grocery shopping in a Ferrari. SO WHAT? Sue me! Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Now that's impressive. You must be doing extremely well to afford a Ferrari. BTW, what year/model did you buy? joel

Hello, Remember this car was rear-ended by a low flying mosquito? 🤦♂️ I think I can stop polishing the trunk now and move to the rest of the car. Don't you think? Thanks, Ismael

Hello, There is the Badger 150, and then there are all other airbrushes in the world.
Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Without a doubt, that must be the best ever paint job applied to the kit of all times. I'd say it's IPMS contest quality for sure.

Hello, This was close to finish. What happened? Well, this happened: Mating the upper and lower bodies, a very distinctive "CRRRRACK!!!" broke the silence. After a few choice words (and trust me, Spanish is sooo cursing rich far better than English), I went into repair mode. No, it is not perfect if you look close enough. The windshield frame also broke (already repaired) so this plastic does not like to be handled. Still need to get both parts permanently together. If it survives then it has a chance to be finished. Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Great save. Sounds like the plastic is as brittle as my old bones.

I met a guy at one of my shows, So Cal NNL who worked at one of the model companies and he told me a lot of models, Lindberg in particular, would collect scrap plastic either from other jobs or left overs from molding kits for other manufacturers and re-melt it to make Model car kits thus so many colors of plastic mostly Gray and Tan. He also said in most of the kits from the 60's and 70's this was the reason they were kind of brittle. I am experiencing this problem with the original issue Revell Porsche 356 Speedster I am building with frame breaks and both sides of the top half of the body. Being a multi-piece body didn't help. I used CA or Super Glue mixed with Baby Powder to make a nice Filler-Bondo like adhesive to put them back together. Works good but dont leave it unsanded for too long as it will get very hard making sanding almost impossible after a few days. Chris
