Started this awhile ago and have posted the WIP on some other forums but I thought I would show it here as well. This is the kit I am starting with. A decent kit with some issues as you will see.

Also need to reshape the wheel arch extensions.
Here I re-radiused the rear opening.
The front flairs are far too wide and also are not parallel with the side of the car as they should be. I'll cut them off and correct them.
Here is a comparison of the modified front extensions with the kit version.

The rear wheel arches are not correct for the car I am building so after some sanding and reshaping they look like this.

I use the scalemotorsports.com micro P/E saws for jobs like that and they make an excellent very thin slice when parting things like flares, most times no filler is need when re-applying parts.. Love em...

A couple of questions about those blades: Don't I have enough fine cuts on my fingers from the thicker X Acto blades? How much quicker do the thin cuts heal? Do the P/E blades bounce back to shape after you drop them? --Frank

Only thing is the will have a tendency to bend if you get enthusiast while sawing and dont keep em square on what you may be slicing, some practice is required but they last a longtime..Chris
