I opened up the kit grill and it looks better but I wanted to use Reji Models photo-etch grill.
The Reji kit comes with resin headlight buckets but inexplicably they don't fit the photo-etch parts. That is why I fabricated my own.
In addition the headlights should be recessed into the grill. Again the photo-etch parts are too small. So after a lot of delicate and tedious grinding I was able to open them up enough to recess the lens.

Yeah, I highly recommend Spot Model particularly when the Dollar is up on the Euro! Aside from a lot of things you dont see here, the pricing can be actually better too!!

Dash and shifter.
The seat on the far right is the driver seat and comes from Hasegawa's Lancia 037 rally car. The middle seat is a modified from the Escort kit. The seat on the far left is the original kit seat.

Fabricated some map pockets and a map light.
Also fabricated a flashlight & holster. This will be installed on the co-driver's kick panel.

Glad you are enjoying the build Chris.
Driver's dead pedal and Co-driver's foot rest. The oil lines pass through the cabin to the trunk mounted oil tank. Drilled the fire wall and added brackets for these lines.
