Thanks guys. You are correct Frank I will be installing the engine from the Heller kit.

The Ace did not have the recess in the trunk floor for the spare tire. Cut the recess off and covered the opening left, top and bottom with flat stock.

Mounted the accessories to the engine front to confirm clearance and fab'd an extended drive shaft.

Thanks for the photos John, I like to color combinations. That is an AC powered Ace by the way. My build will be powered by a Bristol engine. That is an early car with round tail lights. Most Aces have the rectangular lights like you see on the 289 Cobras.

Final shape of the nose. The Heller kit headers fit nicely.

Drilled mounting holes for the bumperettes and added fairings for the turn signals.
