Doing the #33 car would save removing the trim off the sides.

Yea removing the trim from the Trumpeter kit doesn't look possible - at least not by me. The #33 car is Bob Johnson at Mid-Ohio '67 which may not be a Trans-Am event.

The #33 Ford Falcon was also drove by Bob Johnson and Don Sessler at the 67 Sebring 4 hours, the color was the same metalic beige of Sessler car at 67 Mont Tremblant 4 hours Trans Am(see the third pics I've sent the last week.
Greetings. And another front picture from the Pete Cordts Falcon #17A

I think the color might be "Navajo Beige" or possibly "Prairie Tan"

Car companies LOVE to change names of colors and make changes to colors with the same name. Just to confuse things.
If the Sesslar/Johnson car is original factory paint color for the '64 model year Fords, it would have to be paint code "P", "Prairie Bronze". It's the only metallic near what the color pictures show. It's more of a "gold" than my '61 Falcon. It was pretty common for race cars to be painted in the original showroom paint the car came with originally. Not much was allowed in the way of changes to the body work. Whereas in later years, more body changes were allowed, which lead to race cars being re-painted before they hit the track.
Pete Cordts' Falcon as a '63 body was a copper-bronze metallic color that I remember as being close to or the same as my '61's Algiers Bronze that doesn't show up on Ford color charts for '63. Then later rebodied as a '64 Falcon it may NOT have been painted a Ford factory original '64 color. But it looks to be pretty close to 62-63 Viking blue as was used on some of the 289 Cobra FIA Shelby team racers. It looks way light for Guardsman Blue from the '64 color charts. I recall it being a typical early Mustang/Falcon color. The paint on the restored Cordts Falcon seems close to my memory of the car. When I saw a picture of the car at a Vintage race, I knew immediately what car it was.

... Added a stiffener and drain plug to the rear axle. Did some work on the rear shocks as well. Rules required stock door panels. Reshaped the Trumpeter unit to fir the Revellogram tub. That stiffener on the rear axle was not allowed at least through the mid 1970s. The interior door and rear side 1/4 panels were required to be in place. The dash structure had to remain stock, although the stock gauges could be taken out and replaced and an aluminum or steel insert panel to fit the new gauges and/or block out unused space was allowed. Driver's seat could be replaced with any seat desired and all other seats could be and preferably should be removed (less fire danger that way). Headliner was best removed also. Although strangely the C-pillar inner liners were required to be in place, I think by SCCA Pro Series Tech Chief John Timanus though not by the published rules. The idea was that the cars visually closely resemble stock automobiles.

Thought the axle stiffener might get your attention Richard. I have a picture of a '67 Cougar in The Cars of Trans-Am Racing 66-72 that shows a stiffener. It is a modern picture, not period so it may be a later modification but I decided to install one anyway. Your knowledge of and experience with race cars far exceeds mine. However this page from the '67 rules book (from the link I posted earlier) appears to indicate (2) seats were required.

Fabricated some patch panels where I removed the molded in battery. Before: After: Also modified the Trumpeter core support to fit. Will be adding more detail to this area.
