I bought a few slot bodies off of Evilbay and received a Mini 1/2 painted and it just fits on a Fly chassis! I had to deck it out with decals and came up with this... Complete with driver... It's a kick to drive!! Patrick

Maybe it belonged to two guys (slang for a guy in English used to be "cat") You know: two cats? Maybe you had to be there... --Frank

Maybe I should have said American slang, not English slang? Can you dig what I'm laying down? --Frank

Is it a 1/24 scale body on a 1/24 chassis for a Mini? Or is it a 1/18 body on a chassis for some generic 1/24 car?

Dusty, It's a 1/24 body on a 1/32 Fly chassis! They work together well! As to the "Dos Gatos" I had 2 cats.

I note that you have it identified correctly for a Mini raced in the US. It says "CS" for SCCA 'C' Sedan class, which is right for a 1275 Mini Cooper. 875cc Austin Minis raced in D/S. Most scale Minis I see are marked for European racing. Although there were probably more raced in the US than in all of Europe. In the 60s and early 70s they were a very popular, effective and inexpensive little race car.
How do you retain the removable roof panel?

Dusty, It's still the clear vac plastic. We had the CSRG races here this weekend... We had a good Mini turn out. More sat in the pits. I was hoping for a cluster shot of them on the track, but... Patrick

I feel like I know what car #38 is, but I can’t shake its make and model onto my tongue. Anyone know?

Is it a 1966 Marcos 1800 GT. No, I'm not an expert. I know it because of a previous happy google accident

Thank you! I’d never heard of it, after all.
