i have looked through many 1/43 databases, and consulted grand prix models and colin fraser. also, haas automotive and the chaparral website. no luck.
does anyone know if a lola t500 has ever been modeled, kit or built, in 1/43rd?
or for that matter, in any scale?
of course, i'm looking for the car jim hall entered and al unser drove to win the indy 500 and the usac triple crown with.
thanks for your help

First Welcome, I hope you will find our little group helpful and entertaining, please join in we need more 1/43 scale modelers. I build them, well try, but have only finished a couple. As far as the Lola T500 goes I have never seen a kit in any scale, I am attaching a link to a post on Open Wheel Modelers that involves a conversion in 1/24 scale. It could be done in 1/43 depending on how much of a challenge you are up to... mb2501.proboards.com/thread/3865/lola-t500-1-24-version?page=1 Chris

Many years ago Bill Jorgensen produced a 1/25 resin trans kit version. Long out of production unfortunately.

thanks, folks. i was wondering where the 1/25th came from on the indycals site! it appears there has never been a model or kit made in 1/43rd. Maybe spark or replicarz will produce one.

You might check over on the IndyCar Proboards site. Run by the same fearless leader Chris as on here. But a lot more emphasis on Indy cars and racing.
