It's nice that they give the fading paint section on the top of the nose as a decal.

The white on the decals looks pretty thick too. Often the color is so light on any dark background the white can look darker. Good decals and good work!

I agree Chris his work is excellent now, it always was but he is striving to make it even better. Not much of an update but i think you can appreciate that it is 39 degrees Celsius here today and my A/C was serviced last week and of course it is not working correctly...funny it was prior to the service. So anyway i went out in the garage as it was cooler there for awhile. I sprayed the wheels the other day and i thought i would take a shortcut and clear the kit black plastic, i have to say it looked really good and what a finish, then i sprayed the Alclad Chrome over it, i have done this before with 2K and then chrome and that worked well, but not this time around. So it was time to soak in the alcohol bath and i started again with the usual process, flat black, gloss black and then today the Alclad, i think i got it this time.

Isn't that the way it usually goes when you try to take a shortcut?

I liked most if not all of the livery's from about 1988 through 2000 but this one is in my top 5. Looking good! Can't wait to see this done.

Since the substrate is already gloss black plastic, wouldn't it make sense to spray the Alclad straight on that, rather than adding coats of other paints which may or may not be as smooth or may render fine details less precise? Have you tried that?

Have you tried that? That is what i tried in the first pic with the Alclad bottle and it looked more like aluminium..not chrome. So i just went with what i know after that.
