You're never too old to learn something new! Thanks!

Couldn't agree more Frank. Have a bit more cleanup to do on the joints but here is the finished cage.

Made up some lowering blocks for the rear suspension just like the 1:1. They install between the leaf springs and the axle. The photos is the Challenger T/A but the Cuda would have used the same method.

Note that's NOT a Dana rear axle. By 1970 rules, any production rear axle could be used. Most swapped Ford 9" in there. Including most Club racers. Camaros, Firebirds, Cudas, Javelins, etc. all had Ford 9" rear axles.

Good catch on the diff, I was so focused on the suspension I hadn't noticed.

I cheat, having Tech Inspected them then and restored them later.

The T/A series was so much fun, I used to watch them run at Mid Ohio. I have so much respect and admiration for your scratch building skills, that roll cage is killer. Maybe some day I'll get the courage to build Parnelli's Mustang. In the meantime I'll be enjoying your WIP.

Looks great and i am in awe of your multiple builds at one time without boxing them up....unlike myself..

I was just like you John not all that long ago, intimidated by scratch building and major modifications. But once you take that first step you gain the confidence and before you know it your doing stuff you never dreamed you were capable of.
Thanks Shayne. I'm cheating a little, the 914/6GT was completed awhile back. However I am building the Falcon and the Cuda concurrently.

The spoiler only attaches to the trunk lid. I added a .010" strip to the base of the spolier before attaching it to create the gap at the fenders. Also cut the notches for the safety pins.

Cross brace to reinforce the unibody. A period photo of the Challenger, the Cuda would have ran the same brace.
