Hello to all. This is a great forum, and I look forward to becoming a regular contributor!
I've been a race fan my whole life, and while NASCAR has been my primary interest, their constant changes have left me exploring other forms of Motorsport. In recent years I’ve become a devout Indycar fan, and have also begun following Formula 1.
I see this site is very road race focused. I must admit that beyond watching the Daytona 24 each year, I don’t have a lot of road race knowledge. I’ve already learned quite a bit browsing here.
However, model wise, I have completed a couple of endurance cars, as well as a 90s Trans Am Camaro. I have at least two more road race cars planned for the new year, and at the moment I am nearing completion of my first Formula 1 kit. When I have some time, I’ll share pictures of some of the cars I have finished.
Thanks for having me, I’m really enjoying looking around.
Rob

Welcome aboard Rob. We enjoy all forms of motorsport. The first race I attended was on 1/2 mile dirt oval. Look forward to seeing your projects and your contributions to the forum.

Haha thank you Chris and everyone. I really like everything I’ve seen in this group. It’s small, but very passionate and encouraging. Kind of like it’s own little model club. In all the threads I’ve been through, I don’t think I’ve seen any cross words from anyone. It is quite refreshing compared to some of the other groups out there...

Welcome to the group, Rob. Constant changes has always been a sore point to me with NASCAR! It seemed to me they had new rules each week (in fact, it seemed the rules changed during a race--I'm talking about the sudden introduction of the "administrative yellow flag" that gave gold old #3 the lead back) But racing is racing, so you have to give them the credit they're due. Glad you could join us...
