Yes it really affects the top color. Especially in the lighter green.
I learned some of the weathering techniques on planes,in hope to make some of my car builds look a little more post race. Like my avatar.

Every now and then I get the urge to build a plane. I have completed three since my return to the hobby a few years back but certainly nothing like yours. Beautiful stuff.

Like my avatar. I've found that modeling across the genres helps compliment builds respective to any given subject being built at the time.

Joseph, Just read through your entire 190-D thread. Needless to say I was just dumbfounded, and at my age that's not an easy thing to accomplish. I had no idea that you were and or are into aircraft these days, as that's where I was in KitMakers for years before the dark side called. So I do know a little about modeling them, but not to the level that your Dora was done to. And from what I saw, you certainly deserved those two awards. Best I ever placed at a IPMS regional and one National was 2nd, so by no means do I model at your level.
So what other surprises do you have in store for us?
