Looks good in the display case! Definitely not the easiest of Tamiya's 1/12 offerings!

Looks good in the display case! Definitely not the easiest of Tamiya's 1/12 offerings! Thanks for saying that, I was wondering if it was just me (or my lack of skills).
It seemed more awkward and confused, compared to say the McLaren M23 kit. Like you had to test fit everything six steps ahead. I used a lot of masking tape and rubber bands, lol. I blame Colin Chapman more than Tamiya!
cheers mate

Like you had to test fit everything six steps ahead. I know that feeling well. I have to ask how you did the gold on your wheels. They came out beautiful

4 coats of TS 21, no clear coat. The fronts were brush painted gunmetal on the spokes.

GREAT job Paul. A very cool car indeed. The steadfast attitude that you displayed sure shows in your finished product.

Paul, Gotta agree with Ismael's point that the Lotus 72D in that JPS Black & Gold pin striping is a show stopper for sure.

Thanks guys. Now all I need is the 78 to put beside it.
Oh, and a 97T. That would be an MFH kit at about, hmm....$1000.00? (not happening).
YIKES!

The JPS from 1978? Wish I had one in the pile. It would be yours. We could do Lotus stable vs. Scuderia Ferrari.
