I have been working on this beauty, Craig Breedlove's Sonic 1 Land Speed Record Jet Car, for several years with a couple of items taking some time. The kit didnt include the Pinstripe along the side and the windshield fits really bad. It is an extremely rare kit so I didnt want to screw it up but I did want it to look correct, the paint is beautiful Tamiya White pearl on the bottom and Medium Metallic Blue on top. Every so often I pull it out thinking I have the nerve to do the decals right, sometimes it goes back but yesterday it got the stripes on the Tail Fin and the US Flags too. Now to cut the pinstripe into a fine point on the front end and paint the Jet engine. Its one of those ones that is very intimidating. I hope to post finished photo's in a week or so It's a strange scale about 12 inches long and really nicely done for a Japanese kit. I saw the real car at the Peterson Museum in very poor shape, out in the parking lot, like they had just received it for restoration. That was about 10 years ago I hope they do make it new. Chris

Looking great, Chris. I don't think I've ever seen that kit before
