Just got home from being in the hospital for the last 24 hrs after a visit to my primary care physician on Friday. Never made it home as I was taken by ambulance to the hospital for a Cat Scan and MRI as I was suffering from a constant headache and dizziness as well as inconsistent respiratory levels as my heart skips 7000 beats every 24 hrs, and they haven’t been able to get it under control for the last several years.
Anyway, the MRI came back clear, but the Cat Scan showed that the main artery to my brain is 70% clogged, so I’ll be needing an Angiogram and hopefully just one Angioplasty. On top of that my wife is having hip replacement surgery 11/18 that I intend to take care of her no matter what.
The good news is that i finished the Lotus Type 79 right before my Doctor’s visit, but I haven’t taken any pics as yet.

Joel, I hope all goes well with both yours and your wife’s procedures. I’m sure everyone on this forum will be keeping both of you in our thoughts.

Thanks guys for the support, it's greatly appreciated. Just seems that lately it's either my wife or myself at the hospital or some specialist. All I can say is that getting old is over rated.

Great that you caught it! Hope it all works out.
I had a boss once who was going to take a treadmill stress test.
He got all hooked up, and took one step onto the platform, and the attendant instructed him to lie down on the floor and not move.
She hit the Code Blue button and slipped a nitro tablet under his tongue.
They then took him directly to the operating room and performed (I think, as this was thirty plus years ago) angioplasty on three out of four of his heart arteries.
Best wishes for your recovery!

Jim, That's some story. Glad that your friend made it through that experience. I've had 2 completely clogged heart arteries cleared via Angioplasties that are still open to this day. The Aorta has me pretty worried as now they're playing with my brain as I still have the dizzy spells and headaches but not as bad as before.

JOEL! I wondered where you had wandered off to but figured it had to be somewhere good! Sorry to hear about this but you caught it and are hopefully on the road to get healed!

Patrick, Thanks for the concern and well wishes.
Right now I have 3 separate issues that being dealt with: the headaches/dizziness, the 30/min pulse rate from the nearly 7000 missing heart beats per day, and the 70% clogged Aorta in my neck. I have so many tests scheduled over the next 3 weeks for all three medical issues, that I'm loosing track of which test is for which issue. And then there's my wife's knee replacement on 11/18. I have to be home for her for no matter what.
