Afternoon Fellows, Surprising what passes through your fingers many times before you realize "Hey, I can use that"! Been working on 289 and 427 Cobras this week with a sidelong trip to Ford GT land. Had some sliced pineapple and mango's I purchased yesterday at the market. They came in an 8 x 6 x 4 plastic snap on lid clear plastic food container. It has a pull strip on on side which I zipped off and threw in the trash bag. For some reason one hit the floor, I picked it up and there on each end was the cutest little 3/8 x 1/4 teardrop shaped bubble! It hit me: 1967 Daytona 24 hr Mk II dual Holley back window bubble, it is even trimmed all around except for the back edge which is part of the pull strip. I trimmed the back edge (not exactly but close) and will try to use clear parts adhesive. The only flaw is it has a lattice pattern molded in, but size wise it looks great exactly the right height and size. Attached are two photos, one the Fujimi from a previous Mk II "Bubble" thread with a Wixx Mk II (excellent diecast GREAT source of parts) and a paint bomb GT 40 with the bubbles placed on the back window and the tear strip for reference, and the other is the container of fruit from the market. Always something new under the sun. Just found out yesterday something new about 289 and 427 Cobra "Flip Top" disc brake locations and left side footwell depth, just when you thought you Knew it All, configuration will change! Thanx for viewing, John

I wouldn't use it with the lattice pattern. It is a nice "buck" for making a mold though for the bubble.
