Controversy seems to follow the Red Bull driver when it comes to winning the F-1 Championship. Last year the Championship moment handed him the Championship at Abu Dabi. This year with a commanding 112 point lead he won the Championship with controversy regarding last years Budget cap and some on track moves the FIA wanted to penalize. Well I say Good for Max and Congratulations to Red Bull on a Well Deserved Championship run. Ferrari put up a mighty fight but it was not to be for the Prancing Horse. A question for all. Do you think Max should lose his 2021 Championship for the Team apparently going over the Cost Cap? My reply is , "Dont you think its a bit late to decide that?" They have an off season and that's when the FIA should come home from the French Riviera and decide if the standings should be changed or Teams Penalized. I have noticed this year the FIA is overstepping the enforcement of the rules , delaying to act and making a mess out of Qualifying as well as the actual race results. Do away with Penalties for changing certain parts and getting a wheel over a white line and let the Boys Race. !!!!! A famous quote to end my dribble.... Rubbing is Racing! Chris

My answer is, NO, Max should not have his title taken from him. Just like you, Chris, I feel it is too late to decide that Red Bull went over the cost cap. I would be willing to bet that Mercedes also went over the cap but were better at hiding that fact.
The FIA needs to be more consistent with their decisions and penalties. I feel that F1 is suffering from losing Charlie Whiting and not being able to find an adequate replacement. They need to stop deciding what is best for "the show", and go back to officiating "the race".
