Wife helping with a model? My mind just blew up! Thanks, Ismael My wife buys them for without even asking. 😃 I have always loved this era Bugatti. I don't even think of the newer ones when I hear the name.

For whatever reason, I had a hell of a time trying to get the same colour blue on each body section. So I gave up in frustration and parked the thing in a box. Been in a bit of a slump anyway building wise, and health wise too. Building the Brabham sort of got me going again, so I decided to finish the Bugatti. The paint still isn't quite right, but it'll do, besides who's to say the real car was all that great paint wise back in 1930? The kit supplies a fabric that you make the hood belts from, I did and it looked horrible, so I left the belts off. If I ever find some leather thin enough, I'll make new ones. So she's finished, one Type 35 fresh from the factory, add your own numbers when you get to the track.
cheers
Paul

Paul, Another outstanding build for sure. Paint colors look close enough to me. The Red/White stripes really make the whole paint job just pop.
I've been really thinking about building just one 1/12 scale model per year as my eyesight is getting to be a real joke. I do have the BT44B in my stash when the calling finally comes. joel
