I'm beginning to work on the beautifully crafted Fisher kit of the Chaparral 2E. Am I correct in using Tamiya racing white for this car? Also, did this car run the Firestones with the gold circle or just the gold word Firestone? Thanks

John, Period shots like the one linked below show the car as being a dirty white, note how the Firestone logo is a slightly brighter white than the rest of the car. I personally think Racing White is too creamy but the reqular Tamiya white is too bright. Maybe use Racing White as your final coat over the regular white? Definately gold stripes on the tires.
