All,
Here's some pictures of my recently completed Porsche 356; my version of an outlaw style build. I don't build a lot of automotive models, but I'm a big Porsche fan. This was meant to be a bit of a palette cleanser for me since my primary hobby is model railroading. Fit was pretty good except for the hood and trunk lids; I left them unattached to show off the interior(s) - if they were glued down they might look somewhat better. I made a fair number of mistakes on this primarily with the paint and clear-coat, but overall it looks ok.

Nice build. I too am a Porsche fan. Never much cared for Ferrari, other than the Dino. All the rest are over rated.

I missed this one before. That's a nice looking 356 you got there!
Thanks, Ismael

Lou, Nice build of my favorite Porsche, I like the "Outlaw" look and have a half dozen 356 kits yet to built in that manor. Thanks for sharing and build more Cars, nothing wrong with Model Railroading. When I build my HO Slot Car Track I will be doing a bunch of landscaping and building track structures. Thanks Again Chris

Lou,
Love your Porsche 356, it's the car that made me fall in love with sports cars when I 1st saw it in the pages of Road & Track Magazine back in the mid 1960s. Of course I never owned one as life always seemed to get in the way.
As for your main hobby of Model Railroading, it's a great hobby. I've been a armchair/closet Model Railroader for more then 35 years. For me one of the big 3 of Time, Space, and a proper budget, always were miss aligned, so it just stayed a dream. That is until last fall when I just said, there's no more time left as I'm turning 75 that coming November. So I decided to take a break from car modeling as my Mojo was pretty low in the tank, and start building that dream layout. Well, it's the start of April, and my MRR has reached the stage where I can actually operate it on a weekly basis even though there's still years of work to do, but I can now also start to build cars again as I don't need to focus all my hobby time to it.
