Just finished this 1:24 Lola T70 in Skip Hudson livery: The decals was the problem, as none was available :-( But then I went along with Corel Draw/paint and my new Laser printer and after some testing produces some useable decals for the project. Here is the result: (blush) - yes sorry, it is a slot car, but I hope it could inspire others to do something similar on static models too :-) More pics and details here: neckcheese.blogspot.dk/

Neat-o! I had the Lancer body as a slot car back when. I think mine was painted orange. The Lancer body was a good shaped example of a T-70. 1/24 slots were so fun back then. My best friend raced Ford cars and I raced Ferraris (275LM, 330 P2, 275 P, even a 1/32 GTO). The Cobra/ Ferrari Wars lived at our local race track! I had many similar problems as did real racing cars like crumpled body work, bent axles, bent chassis and an over exuberance for SPEED! Hmmmm, you think these were related to how I drove out on the streets? Mmm, may be! Patrick

I picked up a set of Pactra slot car decals to do this version a few months back although there are no pinstripe decals I have always liked this car. When my Dad owned Santa Ana Raceways, I raced simi-pro and my body of choice was the Iso Griffo Rivolta Although the slot car body was a bit squashed down and widened. Among a field of Ferrari's, Fords. Porsches and more it was very easy to identify on the track. It handled well and was attractive. I started working at the shop when I was 8 and knew all the Pro's and Celebrities that frequented the shop. It was those people who got my Dad involved in so many real race car builds and teams, ahhh those were the days of my youth!!! Chris

The Iso was at Laguna Historics a few years back. I missed it, but it is so GTO?LM-like that I really like it, too.
