That is a very nice replica, what do they cost? What scale is it? I have a lot of 1/32 slot car body kits because of the lack of subject in other scales... Do you have a link to Scale Auto? blancpain-endurance-series.com for lots o pics of the R8 GT3.. Chris

The scale is 1/24th and it cost me about 40 bucks. As to a Scale Auto web site, I don't know, but I am sure there is. I bought it locally at a place called Hot Slots 132. Their site is hotslots132.com.
This particular body kit I have been told is not on their web page, while the Porsche, BMW and Jaguar kits are. I ordered it just as it became available.

Excuse my ignorance, but is slot car racing enjoying a resurgance? I don't recall the slot cars of my youth being done to such a high standard as scale replicas either.

Yes, big time. Especially in 1/32. Almost as prolific as 1/43rd resin, but MUCH better scale fidelity in general. There seems to be two 1/24th companies, Carrera and Scale Auto. I have also purchased a Carrera Porsche LMP2 car, that I plan on rebuilding and cleaning up, as it is a little crude.
