Art and I are going to make a display of F5000 cars here and want to invite other modelers to join us. I'll have 6 cars to show.

My old F5000 models are all broken and in boxes stashed away or far from completed.
But I'll be very glad to see models by others.

Great stuff Patrick!!!!!
Some of those are race cars that I got up close to in 1:1 scale.
The Brett Lunger driven '74 Eagle #6
Graham Mcrae's Mcrae GM1 #66
Tony Adamwicz's ("Tony A-Z")'69 Eagle #7
And Sid Taylor's McLaren M10 #1
Those I saw in person.
Bill Brack raced his Castrol Lotus 42 #42 in Canadian F5000 races (never saw it out on the west coast, only in magazines and papers of the time)
And I never saw the Peter Gethin McLaren M16. But it seems a cool race car. That chassis was quite successful in Indy car racing.
Please correct me if I get any of these wrong... I suppose the '74 Eagle is from one of the Indy kits. The McRae is maybe from a Resin kit? The '68-69 Eagle is from an MPC '68 Eagle Dan Gurney/Denis Hulme Indy kit. The McLaren M10 from the Heller M7. The Lotus 42 from the IMC Lotus 38 '65 Jim Clark Indy winner kit...unless it's intended to represent the late season (after he crashed the Lotus) Lola T142 (squarish nose suggests that). Still probably from the IMC Lotus kit. And the McLaren M16 is probably from either the MPC McLaren M16 or maybe one of the Jorgensen resin M16s.
Beautiful display.
