Here is the hi-detail project I am starting NOW!!! The Tilt kit, Thanks Patrick, is very nice, I am using only the body!! for the Chassis, suspension and other parts, the Hasegawa Lancia Stratos HF Rally, Thanks Paul, Spot Model out of Spain provided an Reji, resin Ferrari/Lancia V-6 engine... and months of research has provided me with some factory blueprints, cut a way drawings and quite a few pics.. Looking forward to working daily on this one..... I am going to post the W.I.P. Chris Hello I have a in mint condition set for sale. Anyone interested? Email: bulent_bulbul@hotmail.com

Looking forward to this... and following Chris' build! I'm looking forward to what Chris does here too. I have a Stratos to build, totally out of character for me it will be a street legal car, just for fun!

Such a cool subject. I have never seen one of these till now! And had no idea of different varieties and that different kit manufacturers did it, in various ways. I’ll have to keep an eye on this one..

Agreed that this is one of Chris's outstanding, super detailed builds, but the last post by Chris was 4 years ago. What we need is for Chris to jump in and let us know if and when the Lancia will once again be on his workbench.

Hi Guys, Yes, It will reappear at a future date, some other projects got in the way and some health issues made me slow down but I do build every day and the Stratos is on the list to get back to life. Hang in there .. Chris

Just a small point - the car in this form (bodywork & Marlboro sponsor) never ran at Le Mans. It was a Giro d' Italia rally car. Stunning , aggressive car all the same. ;-)

Cool subject, I too have the Tamiya offering of the Lancia Stratos Turbo but I had no idea someone made of kit of the Lancia with the Marlboro livery. I grew up in the 80s and loved a certain toyline that featured robots turning into real world cars and trucks and jets. Originally known as Daiclone Car Robo, two of the robots transformed into the Lancia Stratos, the one in Alitalia livery was brought over and the one with the "bad logo" stayed in Japan. Hasbro could only get away with so much before lawsuit started flying!
