Hi Guys,
Thought I'd start the ball rolling on this, as I'm in the UK my "local" track is the world famous Brands Hatch which is about 21.5 miles from where I live approx ;D ;D
I used to marshall there many years ago and have driven the circuit in my car but my 1 and only time of marshalling at paddock hill bend -the 1st bend after the start- we had an incident with a now sadly dead British driver Gerry Marshall who was doing what he did best- leading the race -he was miles ahead and on around the 6 or 7th lap he came up to the bend and went straight on into the barrier we rushed up as we do and got him out of the car and asked what happened he replied I was bored and no one was anywhere near so I was fiddling with the radio trying to get a decent music station and forgot where I was he just laughed but he is sorely missed now

Brands is one of my favorite tracks. I used to run it a lot when I ran Grand Prix Legends racing sim. I really like running 2 wide at Druids

My wife and I went to Brands Hatch in 1986 for the F1 Grand Prix, when Nigel Mansell won in the Williams. Fabulous track, and we had a great time there. Huge crowd, and temperature in the 70's (F) and sunny! I grew up and live not too far from Watkins Glen, which is another great track.
