Very nice Bill. Are those turned aluminum rims? If so where did you get them?

Another outstanding build and paint job on Lothar Motschenbacher's Silver Cobra. I'll always remember him as the runner up just about every race to Team Penske & Capt. Nice in the USRRC & to some extent in the Can Am. Those rims are incredible. For $50 or buy it now for $75, I sure hope that you get 4 of them.

How did you make the side panels?

JC, i used side windows from a 427 dragon snake Monogram kit. cut out glass part and trimmed down upper edge. added a center post and used thin lexan plastic for new window. picture is a crude example

I had forgotten Bill that that kit includes the side windows. Your 427 builds are all looking great.

Love following this build thread. Makes me want to build a few myself. It's also inspiring me to create a decal sheet as the kit is easy to find, just not the individual details that makes each car unique.
Time for some homework!

Time for some homework! thanks guys for the comments and positive feedback. Steve from v-r-m .com is working on getting his big block cobra decal set corrected and hope to see them later this year . most of the car numbers are on that decal sheet.
half way there with 5 to go. waiting for decals i screwed up on the Eger Ford cobra and need to wait for Sunburst wheels to be made for the #7 car.

I'm glad you can get Steve at VRM to respond to e-mails. I tried several times and got no response.
