Very nice build! How tough was it to get those decals in place?

This build looks like what the Esci/Ertl kit calls the baby!

Yup it is the same as the AMT/Ertl kit and was called the "Baby" due to its smaller than 2 liter engine. Again I would refer you to Rob Di Bie's Porsche Kit list for all the details. robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/911-935.htm Great Build !!!!! I like the mods you did and it is just one more build I have been looking at lately for my next high detail project, the J. David 935-78 or Moby Dick .. I watched Stolmmenn die at Riverside in the J. David and feel its time for my tribute to Him.. back to your build, I started this kit in Silver with the Martini markings as raced in Europe but those darn rear fender decals stopped me dead as I could not get them to stop wrinkling , a tough decal job that looks like you successfully achieved!!! Dang JC...that really looks good my Friend! I just bought the AMT kit looking for something different to build. But I didn't want to do the Martini car. I'm looking for something a little different. Maybe a Jagermeister car or something.

You bet I will JC. I did some internet research on the different teams that ran the 935-77. I didn't see to many that ran that particular body. I'm thinking Momo..maybe Jagermeister...of course any input on different teams and a place to get the decals is very acceptable...

You could track down the Italeri version with the Liqui-Moly livery.

Speaking of Momo cars, I did this 935-78 many years ago, Cady Decals and an Airfix kit... I was very proud of this car being a huge Momo car fan, when I finished it I entered it in the Ontario Ca. model contest, this was the first contest I took my soon to be wife Yolanda to, while collecting all my other cars from the tables I asked Yolanda to hold it , it was in a case, and she was standing a bit away and all of a sudden I hear a crash.... Yup!! She dropped it!! Only minimal damage but she was so scared I was going to get pissed..I didnt because ..Hey things happen. Chris
