I've watched the race broadcasts off and on for the last few years, but the series just doesn't fire my imagination. I don't know if it is due to the RC car sound they make, that the races are all run on street courses, or the relatively slow speeds of the cars. In all fairness, the racing is pretty close, but I wonder why they don't run on natural road courses or ovals.

Probably because of the Regenerative Battery systems that work off braking...on most Ovals they wouldnt use the brakes . The series is based on a more Global series and the more Cities they run the more exposure. Have you noticed where the street tracks are? I mean Uruguay? Really what other series is on TV that runs there...or Mongolia or Chechnya or where ever they run??? I am sure many of the Cities are happy to close down the streets for a few days to run the races if they are Globally Televised ...To run as a support series to F-1, Indycar or ?? would most likely cost them an extreme amount where the obscure Cities are Happy to broadcast Tourism and make money off it!

I agree with Patrick, I've tried watching them 2 or 3 times, just can't do it!

One must kinda look at them as what they are.. a pretty new technology and actually a well designed race car, and kinda take it for what it is...a Filler when No other series is running... Hurrrrraaaayyyyy for F-1 today in Australia....Finally something worth watching.. Chris
